POLICE have launched an investigation following last Thursday’s road traffic accident in Wokingham town centre and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A woman in her sixties died after a collision with a lorry in Station Road around 2pm on Thursday, November 5.
Air Ambulance crews took her to the John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment, but she sadly died from her injuries.
Her next of kin have been informed, but she has yet to be named.

The accident happened at one of Wokingham town centre’s busiest junctions and Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.
Signs have been placed around Station Road to alert members of the public to the appeal and anyone with information is asked to call PC 5241 Simon Pink from Three Mile Cross Roads Policing with the 101 number.
