A man has been arrested in connection with a series of parcel thefts in Shinfield, police have said.
Officers from the Wokingham South Neighbourhood Policing Team made the arrest following reports of stolen deliveries from Bolton Drive over the past week. The suspect was arrested on suspicion of theft, assault, and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
Police said they have recovered a number of items believed to be linked to other unreported parcel thefts in the area. Officers are now appealing for potential victims to come forward and help identify the recovered property.
Investigators believe the suspect may be connected to multiple doorstep thefts reported over the past three weeks.
Residents who believe they may have been affected, or who have information about the incidents, are urged to contact police by calling 101 and quoting reference number 43260140446.
Wokingham South officers said they are actively pursuing offenders involved in parcel thefts and are seeking to remand and convict those responsible.
Police added that public reports are essential in tackling this type of crime and thanked residents for their assistance.
