Two incidents in same Arborfield road: police arrest teenager

A TEENAGER has been arrested after police were called to two separate incidents in the same Arborfield road on Thursday, April 12.

Residents reported seeing six police cars in Poperinghe Way around 9pm in the evening.

Thames Valley Police said that they were called out to the road after reports of a teenager damaging a home, and another teenager being punched in a second incident.

They are now appealing for witnesses.

A spokesperson said of the first incident: “The force was called to a property at that address after a reports of a door being damaged. A 14-year-old boy was arrested and released under investigation.

“Anyone with any information about the offence is urged to call 101 and quote investigation reference number 43180109745.”

And in the second incident, a teenager was attacked.

The spokesperson said: “In another incident in the same road, an 18-year-old woman was assaulted by another woman. The report was the offender pulled the victim’s hair and then punched her.

“Anyone with any information about the offence is urged to call 101 and quote investigation reference number 43180109772.”
