A search has been launched to find a man after a girl was snapped using the toilet in a branch of McDonald’s.
The incident is said to have occurred on Friday evening.
The 13-year-old was using the toilet and Thames Valley Police said that she while she in the cubicle, heard the click of a camera phone taking a picture. She then looked up and saw the top of someone’s head over the cubicle wall.
Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a man who might have information about an exposure and voyeurism offence. It took place on Friday, May 20 at about 9.05pm at the McDonald’s branch in Reading’s Oxford Road.
Investigating officer, Det Con Alastair Bagshaw of Reading CID, said: “The victim in this case was, understandably, very upset at what had happened and the ongoing thought of where that photograph may end up is a constant concern for her and her family.
“I am keen to identify the person responsible as quickly as possible and would ask anyone that recognises him to contact me immediately.
“This can be done anonymously if there are any concerns.”
