EMERGENCY crews were called to a home in east Wokingham yesterday afternoon to tackle a blaze being treated as arson.
The incident happened at an address on William Heelas Way.
Crews from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled the blaze, with a team from South Central Ambulance Service despatched to the scene.
Now, Thames Valley Police have established a scene watch on site, and launched a probe into the cause.
A spokesperson for the force appealed for witnesses to come forward.
They said: “At around 1.17pm on Saturday, December 9, we received reports of an arson on William Heelas Way.
“Officers attended alongside Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service.
“We are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
