PINEWOOD PUMAS Under 8’s stormed to victory in the East Berks Football Alliance Under 8 Final as they beat Old Windsor Tigers 4-1 on Saturday.

The Pumas played six matches on their way to cup success as they scored 27 goals in the process while they only conceded seven.

“It was a great result for the boys and after going 1-0 down in the final they kept their heads, stuck to the game plan and came back to win the final 4-1 which was brilliant to see,” said  coach Howard Lewis.

“They had already played Old Windsor Tigers twice this season in the league and hadn’t beaten them so it was so pleasing to see the boys overcome that and succeed in the final.

“They’ve been playing together from about the age of five, It’s a really strong group of boys who all love playing the game, you can see their love and passion for football and it’s been a real team effort.
