RABBLE Theatre, a charitable organisation dedicated to making the arts accessible in Reading, is excited to announce a 9-week Young Company Musical Theatre (YCMT) course starting on January 17, 2025.
Young performers aged 8–18 years are invited to join this dynamic class, which will culminate in a thrilling performance of Matilda, Roald Dahl’s beloved story, on Friday 28th March 2025.
The YCMT course is designed to help young people build confidence, develop new skills, and have fun while bringing to life the magical world of Matilda. The show features high-energy dance numbers, catchy songs, and heartwarming moments, all infused with the humour and heart of Dahl’s classic tale. The talented young cast will take audiences on a journey through the story of Matilda, an extraordinary young girl who uses her intelligence and bravery to overcome adversity in a world that doesn’t always understand her.

The YCMT course focuses on developing skills in singing, dancing, and acting, with an emphasis on building confidence and teamwork. Throughout the 9 weeks, young performers will gain a deeper understanding of musical theatre, working together to create an unforgettable performance.
