Reading rescued a point against Hull City thanks to a late Jon Dadi Bodvarsson equaliser on Saturday.
It was largely an afternoon to forget for the hosts as the fans showed their frustration at a lack of clear opportunities.
REACTION: Jaap Stam unhappy at fan boos
And the ratings reflect the largely forgettable display at the Mad Stad.
VITO MANNONE: Faultless for the Hull goal and produced a couple of important late stops, but was rarely troubled – 6
PAUL McSHANE: Did not have too much to do defensively as Reading bossed possession – 6
LIAM MOORE: Looks like a leader in the making but could have grabbed a dramatic winning goal – 6

JOEY VAN DEN BERG: Gave possession away in dagerous areas but looked far better in midfield during the closing stages – 5
CHRIS GUNTER: Should have done better to prevent the opening goal and was subbed off in the second half – 5
DAVE EDWARDS: An understated first Mad Stad start. Made some good movement but did not affect the game in the final third enough – 5
LIAM KELLY: Showed some neat touches and tried to push Reading forwards, but his passing was waywards at times – 6
TYLER BLACKETT: Selected in a wing back role but aside from one good pass to Beerens, failed to make an impact before being subbed – 5
GARATH McCLEARY: Struggled as the central striker and only enjoyed slightly more success when moved out wide – 4

ROY BEERENS: The Dutchman has had better days but whenever he beat a man there never appeared to be an option to pick out – 5
SONE ALUKO: Reading’s liveliest threat all day. Most of what he tried did not come off but produced a lovely assist for Bodvarsson late on – 7* (star man)
SUBS:
JORDAN OBITA: Injected some more pace down the left and put in a couple of decent crosses – 6
TIAGO ILORI: Surprisingly brought on in the second half but showed good pace and composure in defence – 6
JON DADI BODVARSSON: Only on for 14 minutes but took his chance superbly to earn Reading a point – 7
