READING FC goalkeeper Dean Bozuanis has left the club to join League Two side Sutton United on a loan deal.

The Australian shot stopper joined Reading last summer under Paul Ince and was handed a three-year deal.

However, he has become surplus to requirements and has made just eight appearances since joining the club.

Bouzanis played in Reading’s opening game of the League One season in a 1-0 defeat to Peterborough, but has since been replaced by David Button, who joined on a free transfer from West Brom.

He has fallen down the pecking order and has not featured in the last few mtachday squads as young keeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke has been preferred as the second choice.

The 32-year-old will now join back up with his former side Sutton, where he spent two seasons and made 98 appearances.
