A landmark pub and restaurant looks set to reopen before Christmas.
The Bull at Barkham pub and restaurant has been empty since early July following the cessation of business by its previous operating company.
Most recently trading as Lemoni, the restaurant has been home to Greek, Thai and traditional British cuisine in its recent history.
In the past week signs have appeared outside the premises. indicating the venue is set to open soon, and that the owners are looking for staff.
The property dates back to the 1700s and was home to a blacksmith’s forge until the 1970s.
A new website has also been created, indicating an imminent reopening.
A spokesperson for landlords Stonegate told Wokingham Today: “The Bull, Wokingham is set to re-open its doors just in time for the festive season.
“Experienced, local publicans will be taking over the site shortly, and hope to have the venue up and running as soon as possible.”
