REWIND Festival 2017 is nearly upon us, but where exactly is it taking place?
Famed for its fancy dress, 80s throwbacks and the biggest helpings of cheese, Rewind Festival is THE place for anyone looking to take a trip down memory lane.
The fun kicks off at Temple Island Meadows this Saturday, with a host of music legends taking to the stage over the two-day festival.
Temple Island Meadows is located on the Remenham side of the River Thames, and is easily accessible from the A4130 Remenham Hill.
Below you will find all the information you need to make your journey to Rewind Festival as smooth as possible.
By Road:
From M4 Junction 8/9
Take the A404(M) towards “Henley and Marlow”. Leave the A404(M) at the second junction signposted “Henley and A4130”. Turn left at the give way and go straight over the roundabout, again signposted ‘Henley’.
From M40 Junction 4
Take the A404(M) towards ‘Marlow’. At the first roundabout go straight over signposted “Henley and Maidenhead”. Take the next junction signposted “Henley and A4130”. Turn right at roundabout signposted Henley onto the A4130.
From Henley Town Centre
Go over the Henley bridge towards Maidenhead and go up the hill on the A4130. Henley can become very congested and we strongly recommend avoiding this route.
Car parking on site is free. Follow the signs for the car park on arrival.
There is also a designated drop-off/pick-up point near the festival entrance. It is advisable to pre-book taxis if you wish to be picked up after the festival.
A ONE WAY SYSTEM WILL OPERATE IN AND AROUND THE FESTIVAL SITE, PLEASE FOLLOW FESTIVAL SIGNS FROM THE A4130.
By Rail: The Nearest train station is in Henley-on-Thames, which is situated approximately 1.5 miles from the festival site. The walk from here is lovely, taking you along the riverbank.
By Bus: Buses run to Henley-on-Thames from Reading, High Wycombe, Wallingford, Watlington and Maidenhead.
