Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue were called to an accident on the A329(M) in Winnersh on New Year’s Eve.
In a statement, a spokesperson said: “At 6:28pm on Sunday, 31 December, we received reports of a road traffic collision.
“Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road fire stations were sent to the scene.
“Upon arrival, crews discovered a collision involving one vehicle. Crews supported Thames Valley Police in making the scene safe, and one person was taken into the care of South Central Ambulance Service.
“Crews were at the scene for approximately 30 minutes.”
