JOSE GOMES’ side will be heading to Spain for a two-week training in preparation for the 2019/20 Championship season.
After returning to pre-season training on July 1st, the players and staff will fly to Andalucia on July 7th and be based in Estepona.
Reading are hoping to play several pre-season friendlies during their fortnight in Spain against opposition that has yet to be confirmed, but the games are expected to be played behind closed doors.
The club has also announced that they will be hosting a pre-season fixture at the Madejski Stadium on July 28th at 3pm, the weekend prior to the start of the new season.
