THIS December, a Wokingham garden centre is welcoming people and their pups for a photo opportunity with Santa.
Squire’s Garden Centres is inviting four-legged friends to join in the festive fun with a new Christmas charity event it is staging across 14 of its centres.
Pups and their owners can meet Santa for a selfie with the big man, with donations going to the centre’s chosen charity, The Cowshed.
Doggos of all sizes can meet Santa, enjoy a special festive moment, and strike a pose, whether with tail excitedly wagging or sitting proudly for the camera.
Organisers say it’s sure to be a fun and heart warming experience for pets and their owners alike.
Ross McEwan, head of festive operations at Squire’s, said: “We’re so excited to be hosting Santa Paws this year.
“it’s a really special event and will bring plenty of smiles (and wagging tails).
“It’s a brilliant opportunity for our customers and their pets to make magical Christmas memories together, while also supporting the centre’s local charitable cause.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone for a fun and festive morning.
Called Santa Paws, the event, at Squire’s Wokingham, On Monday December 8, is free, with festive visitors encouraged to make a donation to support the centre’s local Charity of the Year; The Cowshed.
Santa will be at the garden centre from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
No booking is required, and children can also meet Santa during the session, for £10 per child.
Their visit will include a wrapped gift and a keepsake badge.
