2022 has been a tough ride for many in the brewing industry. In the last few months, there’s been a brewery closing its doors almost daily. It’s painful to see, but it makes us all the more grateful for the continued support that we receive. A huge thank you to everyone who’s read these columns, who’s visited one of our sites, bought beers online or enjoyed our beer in a pub. We couldn’t do it without you!
And so, as we see out the year we thought we’d have a bit of a look back at some of the highlights of the last 12 months.
But first, a question for you – How many unique beers do you think we’ve brewed and released this year? a) 34 b) 64 c) 84 or d) 114. Answer below!
We started the year with a great Tryanuary offer to win a mini fridge. Throughout January 2023 you can use the code LOCAL20 for 20% off anything in our Tryanuary category! Make sure you’re on the mailing list for updates on what beers are included – sirencraftbrew.com/newsletter
For our 9th anniversary, we launched 7.4% West Coast IPA, Twists and 11% Imperial Stout, Turns, as well as our annual barrel aged barleywine blend – Maiden. With our 10th anniversary now visible on the horizon, we have some big plans for some very exciting beers – watch this space, and read more about Maiden here – sirencraftbrew.com/maiden
In the summer, we threw our biggest party ever. So big in fact that we had to take it out of the brewery and use the three sixty event space on the Reading University Campus to host. Along with the beer festival, we launched 4 beers designed to celebrate the hops that created an industry. We hope to see you at one of our events next year!
And most recently, we launched our range of imperial stouts, all celebrating a type of bean.
Curiosity,Candour and Charm took our brewers to the limit, in order to push experience and flavour. Find out more about those beers here –sirencraftbrew.com/threebeanccc
