A BAND that rocked Wokingham is making a triumphant return this week.
The Fliks headlined the Wokingham Festival last August, bringing the popular outdoor music and food event to an end.
The female-fronted group performed a mixture of 60s songs including hits originally made famous by The Supremes, The Ronettes, Tina Turner, and Dusty Springfield.
Now they’re coming back to the Wokingham Music Club on Friday night (April 15).
Organiser Stan Hetherington said: “They closed Wokingham Festival last year in such style we had to get them back.”
The group will perform at the Emmbrook Sports and Social Club in Lowther Road, Emmbrook.
Tickets cost £10 and must be booked in advance.
