A RESTAURANT in Spencers Wood is doing its built to help its customers through the cost-of-living crisis, by offering its very own two-for-one deal.
Miah’s on Basingstoke Road is offering the discount to people dining in.
Running from Sunday through to Thursday, people need to pre-book in advance to enjoy the discount on the food.
Abadul Islam, who runs the popular Indian restaurant, said he was aware of the pressures inflation was causing people.
“This is about helping the local community,” he explained.
“While it’s nice to have a takeaway delivered, it’s always good to treat yourself by dinning out, so we welcome the Spencers Wood community to our restaurant.”
The offer launched at the beginning of July and Mr Islam said it has been popular.
“We have seen an increase in people dining in,” he explained. “On some nights, all three rooms in our restaurant have been full.”
The company is also planning on being part of the Spencers Wood Carnival, which takes place next month.
“It’s on our doorstep after all,” Mr Islam said
