THE CLOSING date for nominations for the Community Policing Awards is fast approaching and Thames Valley Police is hoping more suggestions will be put forward.
The annual event is now in its 22nd year and aims to celebrate the best that the force has to offer – officers, staff and volunteers.
Nominations are sought for people who have gone above and beyond in their roles over the past 12 months.
There are eight categories: Community Police Officer; Police Community Support Officer; Special Constable; Diversity Champion; Volunteer; Cadet; Community Volunteer; and Problem Solving Award.
The closing date for nominations is Monday, August 21, with the winners announced by the end of October.
