A SHINFIELD community group is appealing for help after its building was damaged in yesterday’s high winds.
Members of Shinfield Players Theatre (SPT) are asking for volunteers to join them from 10am this morning, Saturday, February 19, to help make the roof on their building watertight.
The group meets in the former NAAFI of the Royal Air Force site on Shinfield Park. It is on Whitley Wood Lane, Reading.
A spokesperson for SPT said that a decision will be made about upcoming performances of Last Tango In Whitby, due to run from Wednesday,March 2, once the building is watertight.
