THERE are few problems that can’t be sorted out over a cuppa, and a new campaign launched on Monday aimed to tackle loneliness.
Residents of Loddon Homes and Berry Brook Homes received some tea bags so they can make their own brews. Accompanying it was a leaflet encouraging recipients to reach out to someone they care about.
Residents are also reminded that the team can be reached for help and support and includes a list of useful contact details.
The gift is to show support for the Samaritan’s Brew Monday initiative.
The text read: “We want to make sure that our residents know that we are more than just a landlord and we want to help build communities and connections. And you can always reach out to us for any help and support.
“So, put the kettle on, have a brew, and reach out to someone you care about.”
It also included useful numbers including the Samaritans 24-hour helpline, which is 116 123.
