A WOULD-BE robber threatened to stab a teenager as he walked through Jennett’s Park last month.
Thames Valley Police have just released information about the attack, which took place around 9.20am on Friday, October 12.
In a statement, they said that the teenage boy was walking in Osprey Avenue. The offender then followed him through Harrier Way and Grouse Meadows to the bus stop on Peacock Lane, opposite the Peacock Farm public house.
At the bus stop, the offender threatened to stab the victim if he did not give him his belongings and when the offender realised the victim did not have anything of value, he walked off.
This is not the first time that the teenager had been targeted on the estate, which borders Wokingham.
Thames Valley Police said that on Friday, September 21 around 11.30am, the same offender kicked the same victim the face at the same bus stop.
Police added that the victim was not injured in either incident.
The offender is a white man in his early twenties, around 6ft 1ins tall of medium built. He has short ginger hair with less hair on the top than the sides, with sideburns. He had scruffy stubble on his face. His teeth were yellow and one of the front two teeth was missing.
During the latest incident he was wearing a grey hooded top and dark trousers and during the incident in September he was wearing a navy blue puffer gilet with dark clothing underneath with sleeves, and dark jeans.
Investigating officer, PC Jake Knight based at Bracknell and Wokingham police station, said: “We believe that a number of people will have witnessed these incidents and would like to hear from anyone with information about them to assist with our investigation.
“These were disturbing incidents for the teenager involved.
