The Maldives is proving to be one of the most popular destinations so far this year, so I thought it was a great time to highlight one of my personal favourite properties, OZEN by Atmosphere.

A short 45-minute luxury speedboat ride from Malé, you’ll find the contemporary OZEN by Atmosphere at Maadhoo Island. Offering the ultimate all-inclusive holiday experience. With a stunning turquoise lagoon, cashmere-soft sands, a variety of fine dining experiences, blissful overwater and beachfront villas, an extensive array of complimentary activities to enjoy, this is island living at its finest.

OZEN’s Atmosphere INDULGENCE concept allows you to enjoy a uniquely exclusive holiday and the ultimate hassle-free escape to the Maldives.

The beauty of this resort is that absolutely everything is included. With unlimited snorkelling excursions, non-motorised water sports, sunset fishing and one adventure excursion, all included, you’ll certainly find plenty to occupy your time in this perfect piece of paradise.

Depending on the length of your stay, you’ll also be able to enjoy a selection of complimentary spa treatments or dives.

For a slower pace, indulge in a luxuriously crafted spa experience at the ELENA Spa & Wellness Complex. This contemporary spa incorporates elements from around the world in tranquil overwater treatment rooms.

Food lovers and wine connoisseurs will be in their element, with a selection of outstanding restaurants all set in spectacular locations throughout the resort.

Enjoy sumptuous Champagne breakfasts and laidback lunches at The Palms, and in the evening, enjoy dine-around gourmet experiences at The Palms, IndoCeylon and Peking.

The undoubted jewel in the crown of the resort’s fine dining experiences is the exclusive underwater restaurant, M6m. Located six metres below sea level, this specialty seafood restaurant showcases beautiful underwater views while you enjoy exotic modern seafood cuisine, promising a dining experience like no other.

Spread over the expansive turquoise lagoon, the resort features a selection of accommodation.

The individual beach front Earth Villas are idyllically positioned on the sandy beach and feature luxurious interiors in warm earthy tones and fresh colours. Each villa has a large outdoor deck and a tropical garden, together with an outdoor bathroom with a hand-crafted bathtub and a monsoon shower.

The romantic over-water Wind Villas built on stilts and perched on the lagoon’s edge. Feature welcoming and cosy interiors, with a beautiful bathroom featuring an ellipse-shaped bathtub offering uninterrupted views of the horizon.

Choose a pool water villa and you’ll also have your own 8m long infinity lap pool overlooking the lagoon.

Ask Ben

I’ve seen loads of Disneyworld promotions this week, can you help me? – Denise R, Wokingham

Absolutely! Each year Disneyworld release a sale where they include a complimentary Disney Dining package.

This means that you receive complimentary 3 meals and snacks per day to use within the Disney Parks and in the hotel. Different packages are available depending on the hotel you choose.

Let us know when you are wanting to travel and we can find you the perfect Disneyworld family holiday to Florida as this sale is on now.

Why do some Maldives holidays include a seaplane and others a speedboat? – Alan B, Bracknell

Hi Alan, great question. The answer is simply the distance the property is from the Capital, Male, where you would fly into. If it’s a resort close by, a speedboat would be used.

If it’s far, then a seaplane is the best option as it’s quicker.

If you’re staying in a closer resort and still want a seaplane, this can also be arranged for you or alternatively most resorts offer a seaplane excursion you could take instead on one your days in the Maldives.

Have you got any questions for us? The team is here to help! We will even publish a couple of answers here each fortnight. Email us and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
