A Wokingham technology firm hopes to celebrate its business growth at a special awards ceremony this Thursday.
Invenio Business Solutions– based in Winnersh- specialises in solving business challenges using the latest technology and over the past two years has seen its workforce and customer base grow from strength to strength.
CEO of Invenio Business Solutions, Arun Bala said: “The year 2017/2018 was a year of considerable growth for Invenio mainly due to the winning of two new customers, Kuehne and Nagel Drinks Logistics and Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority.
“In the same year, we have also won several new projects for some of our existing customers, News UK, XP Power and PRH.”
He added: “During the following year 2018/2019, Invenio gained massive success in the Public Sector space through winning two new customers, The Ministry of Finance in Bahrain and The Ministry of Finance in Qatar.
“In the media space, Invenio achieved a series of strategic wins including Globe & Mail and Viacom and, in the area of manufacturing and logistics we added Johnson Matthey to our portfolio.”
And commenting on the driving force behind this success, Mr Bala said:
“Invenio’s core values, Customer Focus, Care, Expertise, Transparency, are the cornerstone of our success, which has been made possible through the devotion and dedication of our world-class consultants as the company has grown from strength-to-strength.
“While our headquarters has always been based here in the UK, as Invenio has grown our physical presence has extended from one side of the world to the other.
“With offices everywhere from the US to Fiji, including a brand-new hub in the Middle East to support our GCC clients, we are a truly global and multi-cultural organisation that is always available no matter where you are.”
The company will celebrate their growth at the Thames Valley Tech Awards this Thursday which they will attend following nominations for awards: High Growth Tech Business, International Tech Company, and Thames Valley Tech Company.
This is the first time Invenio Business Solutions have entered the awards and they hope that doing so will make their brand more recognisable on both a local and national scale.
Mr Bala- who has worked with Invenio for more than 6 of his 28 years in the IT industry- also discussed the future he envisions for technology.
He said: “We are at the beginning of the journey with three of the key trends that will shape our future: Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and Quantum Computing.
“The next ten years will see the evolution of the first two technologies supported by the supreme computing power of the third make several unimaginable things come true. These will also change the workplace forever.”
The CEO- who has also held leadership positions at companies Sutherland Global Services, Cognizant, Siemens and Wipro- added: “The customer is at the centre of this change and the customer experience is the key.
“Organisations need not review the impact of actions after they have been taken. Through predictive models they can simulate the parameters and understand how it will impact results. This enhances the decision-making accuracy and drive predictable business outcomes.”
This year’s Thames Valley Tech Awards follow the success of its first year in 2018, and will continue to recognise the outstanding achievements of businesses- both big and small- from a region that is home to companies including Microsoft, Oracle Huawei and Cisco.
