Q: Is an ISA still the best place for my money?
A: ISAs have been in the news again recently after it was revealed the Treasury Select Committee is considering scrapping the Lifetime ISA, or LISA, barely a year after it was launched.
This may have focused people’s minds towards their own savings and investments which could have been set up many years ago and ignored ever since.
The answer to this question is almost certainly ‘yes’, but it’s the type of ISA that’s important. It’s absolutely critical to have the right products in place if you want to achieve your financial goals.
The best way to find out if all the elements of your portfolio are working as hard as they should be is to visit a financial adviser.
He or she can put your finances under the spotlight and advise you on an appropriate course of action, if one is needed.
