Reading FC defender Tyler Bindon was awarded as the club’s Player of the Season for the 2024/25 season, as voted by the fans.
The young centre back has won the plaudits of many after his superb performances across the past two seasons at just 20 years old.
Bindon will now join Premier League Nottingham Forest after they sealed his signature in the January transfer window before loaning him back to the Royals for the remainder of the campaign.
The Royals signed him on a free transfer from Los Angeles in 2023. Original plans from the club were to integrate Bindon as part of the under 21s squad, however his superb performances in the EFL Trophy won him a place in the starting eleven for League One matches under Ruben Selles.
He made a total of 40 League One appearances last campaign and scored twice as the Royals survived relegation
Meanwhile, this campaign he has played 44 League One matches as Reading ended in 7th place, just outside the play-off places.
Harvey Knibbs was voted in third place for the POTS awards, while Joel Pereira was in second.
Lewis Wing won the goal of the season award for his thunderous strike against Crawley Town.
