A CHOIR is swapping a weekend performance for a midweek one, as it prepares for an evening of music next week.
Bracknell Choral Society will be presenting Songs from the Shows at Newbold College Church in Binfield.
The concert will feature pieces from some of the most well-loved Broadway blockbusters of the past 80 years, including Carousel, Oklahoma, South Pacific, and Les Miserables.
Music by composers such as Sondheim and Rogers and Hammerstein, will combine to make this a tuneful evening.
The concert will feature West End performer Maria Kesselman and soprano Emily Burton will also be returning to sing with the choir. Emily is well-known for many of her starring roles in musical theatre productions for EBOS and Crowthorne Musical Players.
Musical director Greg Hallam will be conducting with Nick Austin accompanying on piano.
It takes place from 7.30pm on Wednesday, May 24.
Tickets cost £15, with accompanied under 18s enjoying the show for free, and are available from choir members or from the Bracknell Choral Society website at www.bracknellchoral.org.uk
