After a hectic few weeks in the brewery, we’re not taking our foot off the pedal. There’s a whole host of exciting things going on in the run-up to Christmas, and we hope we’ve got something for you.
We want to begin with a huge thank you to everyone who came along to the Caribbean Chocolate Cake launch day. All 4 of this year’s beers were well appreciated, and it looked like everyone had a great time. The good news is that despite selling out online in a few days, we still have some stock in the Tap Yard. If you missed out, act fast.
Both our Presentation 4-Pack Gift sets and the special Chocolate Pizza proved popular. Due to the excellent feedback, we’ve decided to the pizza on the menu as a special throughout December. The Presentation 4-Pack Gift Sets now feature our 4 flagship cans. Or, you can choose from 4 of either one or 4 of our 5% dry-hopped lager, Santo.
We also have lots of lovely chocolate gifts from Willie’s Cacao available. Willie’s supplied the cacao for Caribbean Chocolate Cake. Good beers, chocolates and sweet pizzas on site – that’s your Christmas shop sorted!
Tap Yard Expansion
Our tap Yard team have been busy working on a new pizza menu, which is almost ready to launch. Along with a new and improved base, they have been trialling a variety of flavour combos. The pizza kitchen is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 12 until one hour before close.
This weekend we invite “Rural Pie co.” back to Finchampstead with their incredible pie combos. They’ve previously made Broken Dream steak pies, and we can’t wait to see what they’re bringing this time. They’ll be on site on Saturday 7th from midday!
During the warm summer months, we’re always able to utilise the outside space at the Tap Yard. During the winter we’re well aware of lack of comfortable overflow space. As a solution, we’re introducing the Warehouse Garden.
We trialled the concept last Saturday and it proved popular with visitors. Every weekend, we’ll now have a fenced-off area of the warehouse with seating, heating and greenery. You can even see into our cold store.

Basingstoke Christmas Market
We’re already in the Christmas spirit and we’re pleased to say that from the 4th to the 24th December we’ll be at Basingstoke Christmas Market! We’ll have our Presentation 4-Pack Gift Sets, and a variety of other cans for sale. We’ll also be selling our brand new updated Growlers and have 2 lines for beer to be able to fill them up there and then. Growlers keep your beer fresh and carbonated, so you can take away and enjoy at home – even up to a few days later!
New Beers
We’re going dark for December, and have 2 exciting new beers to tell you about. First up is a 6.2% Black IPA called In The Belly Of A Shark. Don’t let the deep black colour fool you, this beer is fruity, hoppy and fresh as they come. It’s available now.
Coming soon we’ll also have a 6.3% Dark fruited Sour and a 4.8% Raspberry Ripple Stout. “It’s My Jam” is full of blueberries, blackberries and apricot for bramble jam-esque flavours, with a tangy sour finish. “Going Out Stout” is a leaving present from one of our brewers, Sean, who is off to Europe to brew some amazing beers abroad. It has a beautiful chocolate biscuit base, with vanilla and raspberry notes running through it. Both of those beers are coming soon!
