Canvassing has begun for the Winnersh by-election – which will take plan on Thursday, February 6.
The election was called following the passing of Cllr Paul Fishwick late last year.
The deadline for nomination for candidates is 4pm on Friday, January 10, with nominations being accepted from 10am on Friday, January 3,
Nomination papers must be hand delivered to Electoral Services in person at the civic offices at Shute End, Wokingham.
You’ll need to make an appointment to deliver your papers by emailing [email protected].
A list of candidates will be published on Monday, January13.
The count will take place immediately following the closure of polls on February 6.
The Liberal Democrats won all three of the Winnersh seats when the seat was last contested in 2024.
