A Wokingham care home has been shortlisted for a national award.
Alexandra Grange Care Home on Molly Millars Lane was shortlisted in the ‘Dignity and Respect Care Home’ category at the National Care Awards.
The National Care Awards- established in 1998 by leading care publication Caring Times- aim to recognise and celebrate the very best services in the long-term care sector.
Lifestyles Team Leader at Alexandra Grange, Katriona Beeton said: “We are extremely honoured to be nominated at the National Care Awards for Dignity and Respect Care Home of the Year.
“The team at Alexandra Grange recognise that dignity and respect is where care both begins and ends each day, it is paramount in their daily support routine whether they are in the domestic, kitchen, maintenance, admin or care team.”
The winners were announced at a glittering ceremony at the London Hilton Metropole on November 29.
The black-tie ceremony marked the 21st consecutive year of the National Care Awards and was a celebration of the most accomplished people in the care sector.
