THREE classic pieces will be performed by the Wokingham Choral Society at its spring concert.
The first is Beatus Vir by Monteverdi, the second is Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and the third is Vivaldi’s Gloria.
The singers will be joined by continuo George de Voil and conducted by Cathal Garvey.
It takes place on Saturday, March 18, from 7.30pm at the Great Hall in the University of Reading’s London Road campus.
Tickets cost £17.50, or £5 for under 18s and students. They can be bought in advance from Wokingham Town Hall’s information centre, the Broad Street branch of Newbury Building Society, and Jay Design and Print in Denmark Street, as well as via the group’s website.
If available, they can also be purchased on the door.
