BOROUGH primary school pupil Leo, aged eight, was delighted to win a Christmas card competition launched by Wokingham MP Clive Jones.
The Liberal Democrat politician was looking for a design to feature on all his official Christmas cards, which will be sent to residents throughout his Wokingham constituency.
Leo Sindhu’s winning design caught his eye, and as a result, will be appearing on many borough mantlepieces this Christmas.
Not only was Leo’s artwork used to adorn the MP’s festive messages, but the youngster also had the opportunity to visit the Speaker of the House of Commons to get one of his cards signed.
He also met the Speaker’s cat, Attlee (named after the former Labour Prime Minister) who lives in Speaker’s House in Parliament.

Clive Jones, said: “Congratulations to Leo for winning the competition.
“His design was exactly the kind of thing I was looking for and he is a deserved winner.
“I’d like to thank everyone who submitted their design for the competition.
“I enjoyed looking through every one of the entries, and I hope that there will be even more next time.
“I’d also like to thank the Speaker, Rt Hon Lindsay Hoyle, for his time, and for signing a card for Leo.”
