A Wokingham-based technology platform has launched an initiative to mobilise the UK workforce.
Total Active Hub, a company that promotes employee health and wellness worldwide, is thrilled to introduce an exciting new initiative called the Big Team Walk
Challenge.
Developed in partnership with London Sport, this initiative aims to foster teamwork and physical fitness within the corporate sector, emphasising the importance of long-term well-being for employees.
Starting on May 1 during National Walking Month, the Big Team Walk Challenge invites teams of six to embark on a virtual trek from Edinburgh Castle to the London Olympic Stadium.
Participants will use a dedicated platform to track their walking activities,
experiencing the journey’s beauty through a live virtual map.
The friendly yet competitive challenge encourages teams to stay active while supporting mental and physical health.
Inclusive in nature, the event welcomes participants of all fitness levels, promoting a
sense of adventure while fundraising for London Sport.
Each team’s entry fee of £100 includes a £50 donation to London Sport. Funds raised from this initiative will directly support London Sport’s initiatives, ensuring accessibility to sports and physical activities across diverse communities.
Founded by Wokingham resident Tony Eames, Total Active Hub is working with some of the biggest companies in the UK, including Circle Health, South Western Railway, and Lloyds Bank, to motivate employees to move more, helping support their long-term physical and mental health.
Organisations that are keen on promoting employee health and teamwork are encouraged to register their teams on the Total Active Hub website at www.totalactivehub.com/big-team-walk.
