WOKINGHAM FA Under 11 Girls’ team were victorious in the English Schools’ FA South East Girls Cup with a 3-0 win in the final.
Wokingham passed their first test in round one with flying colours with an emphatic 5-1 win against Woking before a second round bye saw them through to round three.
Two consecutive 1-0 victories saw the girls reach the final as they beat Thurrock in the third round before defeating Orpington & District in the semi-finals.

Coach Ethan Greene, said: “The Girls have come together phenomenally this season on and off the pitch exceeding our expectation, their growth and development throughout the season has been a joy to be part of.
“Winning the South East Area Girls Cup in our first season is an outstanding achievement and a testament to the work our girls and coaches have put into the team as well as the commitment and support we’ve had from the parents.
“As well as continuing to play well in the Super Six London League our attention now turns to the National Finals, which will be a great way to end the season off for this fantastic group of girls and continue to put in a performance to do our association and themselves proud.”
The girls will now look to continue their success having qualified to represent the South of England in the English Schools FA National Finals on June 15th at Liverpool Football Club.
