Wokingham has launched its vision for the next decade as the Wokingham Communities Vision 2035 has set out its ambition for the borough.
Businesses, community groups and charities gathered last Tuesday night at All Saints Church to share their vision for the town.
The community-led steering group was established more than two years ago by a group of volunteers from the charity, education, business and local government sectors.
The six ambitions they have set out are:
– Protecting and improving our places
– Making it easy for people to access the things they want and need
– Building and maintaining great communities
– Providing fair opportunities for everyone
– Economic success that everyone is part of
– Living happy, healthy and independent lives
The group are encouraging as many residents, businesses, organisations and groups to join the pledge as possible.
