Wokingham Pride has launched its own charity Christmas cards.
Proceeds will raise funds for the 2024 Pride celebration, which will take place on Saturday July 13 in Elms Field.
The cards are on sale in Wokingham at the Library, the Charity and Community Hub and St Paul’s Church.
The cards feature a photograph of a robin taken by local photographer, Ian Hydon.
Ian said: “I took the photograph in Wokingham.
“I have had more than 50 of my photographs shown by the BBC to illustrate their weather updates”.
Wokingham Pride has been running since 2019, and has grown into an annual fixture with local bands and strong support from the Town and Borough councils.
“We are in the process of becoming a registered charity”, said Rachel Bishop-Firth, who is the chair of the group.
“We would love to have more people join our friendly team, and are particularly interested in talking to anyone who could spare a few hours to act as our treasurer or secretary”.
