Squire’s Garden Centre in Wokingham is set to host the Reading & District Fuchsia Society’s annual show on Saturday, July 26.
The free-to-attend event will open to the public from 1.00pm, following judging.
Celebrating the beauty and variety of this much-loved plant, the show will feature impressive displays from expert growers and enthusiasts from across the region.
Held under the covered plant canopy at Squire’s Wokingham, visitors will have the opportunity to view an array of vibrant, unusual and specialist fuchsia varieties not often seen in garden centres.
Sarah Squire, chairman of Squire’s Garden Centres, said: “We are very pleased to welcome the Reading & District Fuchsia Society back to Wokingham.
“The show is a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the dedication and expertise of specialist growers, and to inspire a deeper love for these fantastic plants.
“The diversity of these plants is really worth exploring.
“Our Wokingham centre provides an ideal setting for the event, and we look forward to another enjoyable and colourful afternoon.”
Paul Munro, chair of the Reading & District Fuchsia Society, added: “We’re grateful to Squire’s for once again supporting the Society and providing a space to showcase these beautiful plants.
“Whether you’re a passionate fuchsia grower or simply curious, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty of inspiration.
“We also encourage local schools and young gardeners to get involved with our future competitions.”
