WITH more than 25 years’ experience in journalism, Wokingham Today editor Phil Creighton has written millions of words, and spelt some of them correctly.
Now he’s about to spill the beans on his career, which started as hot metal was being phased out and desktop publishing was coming in.
No lofty session on Parkinson or Graham Norton’s sofa. Instead, he’ll be guesting at the WISE Over 50s Forum in Woodley next month. It will be a chance to find out why he has a face for radio and a voice for print.
The session takes place at Coronation Hall on Headley Road from 2pm on Tuesday, March 14.
Entry is £3, and organisers are keeping tight-lipped on the exit fee.
There will also be a raffle, with tickets costing 50p or five tickets for £2.
