Woodley’s town mayor got on his bike last week to help celebrate the launch of a new bike hub.
Wokingham Borough Council’s My Journey team has opened the facility at Woodford Park Leisure Centre and invited Cllr Sam Rahmouni to cut the ribbon.
Cllr Pauline Jorgensen, executive member for highways and transport, said: “My Journey has played a crucial role in keeping our residents healthy, and encourage cycling.
“This great new bike hut will allow My Journey to meet the needs of residents in and around Woodley and Earley, and encourage them to cycle more through events and activities on offer.”
