A 17-year-old girl and a 31-year-old man have been arrested after a car was reported to have overtaken an unmarked police vehicle at around 100mph on the M4.
Thames Valley Police said officers were responding to a “fail to stop” incident at approximately 15:20 GMT on Tuesday, January 27. The vehicle subsequently entered Bracknell, Berkshire, and collided with a parked car.
Police brought the vehicle to a stop using a “tactical stop” manoeuvre. No injuries were reported.
The teenage girl was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, while the man was arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting an offender.
Photographs were shared on social media which showed officers surrounding the vehicle as it was docked on a towing truck on Bracknell High Street, near Blue’s Smokehouse restaurant.
Thames Valley Police said investigations are ongoing.
