A WOKINGHAM church is putting on a community fundraiser in aid of refugees worldwide.
Shinfield Baptist Church will host the fun-filled afternoon barbecue on Saturday, September 23, which will feature activities for the whole family, raising money for Choose Love.
The global charity allows people to purchase essential items for those who need them most.
Children can enjoy painting, hair braiding, beat the goalie, bouncy castle and much more, while the barbecue, live music and raffle will be sure to capture the imagination of attending adults.
Residents are invited to contribute raffle prizes and can contact the organisers through Facebook.
Shinfield Parish Council is partnered with and will support the fundraiser.
The event takes place at School Green Centre between noon-2.30pm.
