ANYONE who wants to find out more about being a firefighter in Wokingham is invited to a special open day on Saturday.
The Easthampstead Road fire station is welcoming applicants for on-call and full-time roles with the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Those taking part should be 17 or older, and can undertake some of the physical entry tests that people need to pass to become a firefighter.
There will also be opportunities to discuss the roles with current staff.
Sessions run from 11am to 1pm, or 1pm to 3pm, and must be pre-booked as it is a recruitment event.
