MEMBERS of a borough film club can enjoy a film set in the Himalayas, when Wokingham Film Society shows Lunana: A Yak In The Classroom.
Made in 2019, it tells the story of a teacher in search of inspiration who travels to the most remote school in the world.
There he begins to realise how important his job is, and learns to appreciate the value of yak dung.
The film is in Bhutanese with English subtitles.
It will be screened at The Whitty Theatre, Luckley Road, on Thursday, May 9.
Doors open at 6.45pm, with the film starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £4 for members, and £6.50 for non-members.
