An office block near Wokingham town centre is set to be converted into flats.
Wokingham Borough Council approved plans to convert Indigo House in Mulberry Business Park into 32 flats.
The new homes will be made up of one and two-bedroom apartments.
JE Architecture says the homes will have large windows to ensure enough natural light for future occupants.
Mulberry Business Park on Fishponds Road currently hosts CEM Analytical Services and Bell.
Wokingham Railway station is a 20-minute walk away, while it would take 24 minutes to travel to Wokingham town centre by foot.
There are also bus services along nearby Molly Millars Lane.
The existing car park provides 88 spaces, with no plans to introduce more.
Plans submitted to the council say there would not be any noise disturbances for future occupants, given it is only surrounded by other offices.
It comes after a history of applications to make the site into housing.
In 2022, plans to remove the existing roof structure and build a second floor to the building were approved.
This would provide 11 one and two-bedroom apartments, including four affordable flats.
Other plans to convert the building into homes were approved in 2021 and 2018, but never came to fruition.
Wokingham Town Council had no comments on the most recent plans and approval was given by Wokingham Borough Council.
