It’s been a super busy few weeks and months here at Siren, and with plenty of summer left before the Christmas rush starts, we’re not taking our collective foot off the pedal. But first, a quick catch up!
Hopefully many of you will have been along to the amazing Swallowfield show, last weekend. We were delighted to be one of the principal sponsors of the show and to serve our brewery fresh beer to thirsty attendees. Our team had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed not only keeping everyone well refreshed, but chatting to you all about the beers. Not to mention the amazing music, displays and of course… massive marrows!
We hope to see you at next year’s show! Side note: our reusable cups are now available to buy on the webshop!
We also recently attended the premiere screening of Powertool Cheerleaders vs Boyband of the Screeching Dead, a brand new comedy horror film made by local filmmakers and Siren supporters, Charlie Bond & James Hamer-Morton (amongst many other talented people!). As Charlie and James have been such long time supporters of Siren (you may have played their Cyphstress online escape room available on our website), we made them an exclusive label for our new “Blush” beer. The beer is available on our website, and look out on our socials for a local Reading screening of the film soon – trust us, it’s great!
And finally, for those who either came to our Time Hops festival, joined the online tasting or even just tried the beers, hopefully you’ve seen the documentary the Craft Beer Channel put together for us. It’s an amazing piece, detailing the history behind these hops that shaped an industry. Check it out here: sirencraftbrew.com/timehops
As for what’s coming up, we have a very special charity quiz at the Siren Tap Yard on Friday 19th September, raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK. It’s just £2 per person with all funds donated to the cause. We’ll have £5 cocktails all evening, and 5% of ALL sales will also be donated. It’ll be a great evening, with plenty of great prizes. You’ll be able to find tickets going to list URL: linktr.ee/sirencraftbrew
This weekend at the Tap Yard we have Demaine Artisan, with their incredible Asian Fusion food. We’re also now open from 10am during the week, so you can come buy early for a coffee. We’ll see you this weekend for some food and brewery fresh beer! Cheers all!
