A BOROUGH music group’s autumn concert will feature songs from the films.
Waltham St. Lawrence Silver Band’s autumn programme will include music from a wide range of genres.
People can expect to hear music from: Lord of the Rings; The Fellowship of the Ring, Bridge on the River Kwai, A Clockwork Orange, and Bridget Jones’ Diary.
They can also enjoy Western themes, and music from Born Free, Out of Africa, The Lion King, Star Trek: Into Darkness, and a special John Williams encore.
Musical Director Steve Block said: “We’re including sounds from Westerns, sci-fi, romantic comedy, and fantasy.
“There’s even a set of movie themes about Africa.
“It should be a lot of fun.”
To accompany the music, movie posters and video trailers will be projected onto a big screen during the concert.
Joining the band will be borough community choir, Sing for Fun.
Led by Hannah Baron, the group will perform two sets of their own movie theme choices.
