MUSICIANS from Second Wind will perform in Wokingham to raise money for loneliness busting charity The Link Visiting Scheme in December.
The wind group, which comes under the umbrella of Bracknell and Wokingham Commmunity Band, makes music to have fun, and will entertain audience members at its Christmas concert.
The musicians will play a programme of popular and Christmas music to get people into the festive spirit, and will be performing under the musical direction of Kevin Ransom
Free interval refreshments will be offered, and visitors will be able to take part in a charity raffle in aid of The Link.
The Link Visiting Scheme promotes social connections and friendship for older borough residents, with activities and gatherings throughout the year.
The concert will take place at Wokingham Baptist Church, on Sunday, December 14.
Music will begin at 7pm, with tickets available for £13 if bought in advance or £14 on the door, subject to availability.
Under 16s enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
