A TAXI driver has been punched in the face by a man while parked in Wokingham town centre.
The 52-year-old victim was sitting in his vehicle in the taxi rank outside NatWest bank in Broad Street at 12.15pm on November 20 when he was approached by a man who opened the car door and punched him in the face.
The offender is described as approximately 50-years-old, white, about 5ft 10ins tall with short grey hair. He was wearing a black jacket, jeans and trainers.
Following the assault the offender got into a small, light blue car and drove off up Rose Street.
Investigating Officer PC James Blowers based at Loddon Valley police station said: “We are keen to speak to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or have any information that could assist us with our investigation.
