WOKINGHAM Borough Council is running a second round of its Big Community Switch programme.
The scheme enables residents to investigate opportunities to lower their energy costs through collective energy switching.
Last year the initiative saw 77 people move to a renewable source of energy, saving 54 tonnes of carbon emissions in their first year, the equivalent of 54 return flights to New York.
The Big Community Switch is run by iChoosr, and all its energy suppliers have been vetted before being allowed to participate.
The scheme uses the bargaining power of a large group to help secure lower prices.
Wokingham Borough Council says that making the switch to renewable energy will help to move forward its ambition of working towards a carbon neutral Wokingham Borough.
After registering, applicants receive a free personal offer with no obligation to go ahead.
Registration will open on Monday, February 17, with the scheme running until Thursday, May 1.
