A new loyalty programme is a win-win for Wokingham business and consumers, according to its founder.
Wokingham resident Daniel Hadden, founder of the new platform Curbb, is hoping his venture will drive more business in the town.
He said: “Are you one of those people who wants to support local businesses, but like the rest of us, don’t find it convenient or easy to do so?
“I’m guilty of it myself. There are places in Wokingham that I’m yet to try, and it’s not for any distinct reason at all. They just haven’t come to my attention.
“Then I’ll see an event and discover a new venue.
“I needed that ‘incentive’ to get me through the door.”
His new venture, Curb, aims to raise awareness of businesses in Wokingham.
“We came up with the solution, where everyone in the community wins.”
Curbb partners with local businesses to share exclusive deals, offers and incentives with our members. Businesses win as they get more exposure and gain customers that never knew they existed, and our members save money because they can flash the membership in most places they go.
Current offers include a £5 saving on a haircut, £40 on beauty treatments, 20% discounts in bars and two-for-one offers at restaurants.
Daniel added: “The true essence of Curbb lies in its ability to knit the community tighter.
“When businesses and residents support each other, it creates a ripple effect.”
Curbb’s business model is subscription-based. Consumers can sign up for £4.99 per month. For businesses it’s free to include their offers.
