A WOMAN wielding a weapon demanded a bus driver hand over their cash box while they were on the road.
Thames Valley Police has just released a CCTV image of a woman they believe could help their investigation into the attempted robbery which took place around 10.40pm on Tuesday, May 16, in the Bracknell area.
They said a passenger approached a driver demanding the money. When the driver refused, the would-be robber showed her part of a weapon from under their jacket. It was described as something used by someone doing karate, and the main part was left inside the jacket.
They then ordered the driver to stop the bus, and they did outside The Green Man on Crowthorne Road.
The driver managed to attract the attention of three men in the pub, who helped at the offender off the vehicle.
Police are appealing for these men to come forward, in addition to the woman pictured.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Rebecca Power said: “I am interested in speaking to the woman pictured as she may hold key information in relation to this attempted robbery.
“I am also keen to talk to the three men who helped the victim get the offender off the bus as they have not been identified either.
“If you are the woman pictured, or have any information on who she is, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230299607.
“Also, if you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
